  1. For a campaign to be successful, it has to be thoroughly planned, and it has to be advertised effectively. Posters are probably the easiest way to do this. The posters need to be detailed, attractive, and it helps to have someone who’s an authority on the subject or is affected by it to talk about it or be quoted on your poster. Pictures are very effective to help get your point across. You should put posters anywhere where people will see them, including places where you wouldn’t normally expect posters to be. There are several different occasions where you could distribute posters, so you should make different posters for different places. It’s also very important to put up posters several times because they can get damaged. For even bigger campaigns, you basically do the same thing, but on a bigger scale. Commercials on TV, the radio, and the internet are all helpful for bigger campaigns. Celebrities are often used in bigger campaigns to attract even more attention to the issue. I can incorporate this into my campaign by doing research and planning before I make the poster. I can also get details on the subject, and information about local places that help the cause. I can make my posters colorful and include pictures. I can also get an authority on the subject or someone who’s affected by it to be quoted on my poster or speak about the topic. Another way I can incorporate this is to make different types of posters to put in different places, and use every opportunity I have inform people about my cause.

  2. What makes a campaign successful is the way you advertise your topic and how you go about reaching the people around you. For example you don’t want to advertise outlawing abortions in a state that already doesn’t allow them. Also making a campaign successful has to do with how hard you’re willing to work. Some of the things that you must have in a campaign is a topic, target, and good persuasive points. If you don’t have something to argue or advertise then you don’t really have a campaign. When speaking of having a topic you need to decide who or what you want your campaign to focus on. It may be a little harder to persuade people when you don’t have a specific topic to persuade them about. A good place to start in putting these in my campaign is by having a specific topic. When I have that then all I need to do is decide who I am trying to influence with my campaign. After I have picked a general group I want to start on my research and advertise it to my specific group. Ounce that’s all complete from there on out it’s all about the hard work and my drive to make my campaign successful.

  3. To make a speech effective it’s important to start off with a hook, or something that will grab the reader’s attention and want them to actually listen to your speech. You should provide supporting details and explanations to why your topic is important and why people should be aware of your topic. To interest people a visual is always good like a video clip, pictures, etc. You should also have a supporting conclusion where you sum up your main points that you are trying to tell the audience. Make sure to include ways that people can help with your issue you are displaying, motivating them to help. If you put all this together you will have a successful campaign in convincing people why your topic is most important! The main things you must remember to include in your campaign is a hook, supportive details about the issue, visuals (everybody likes looking at pictures and videos, or at least I do), and organizations. Include organization were people can help out it motivates people to actually want to make a difference. Give eye contact with your audience to let me know you are serious about your topic. Emphasize on the key points you want to highlight to others. And always thanking your audience for taking the time to listen to your opinions is always courteous. For my class campaign I would come up with a slogan which will act like my hook. I will put up statistics and examples about my rising topic, and let’s not forget about pictures and graphs to help represent my issue. I would also have sign-up sheets where people can volunteer to help out this issue; this will stand as me having an organization for people to be more aware about my issue. And brochures or pamphlets are good to have so people can just “grab and go” to learn more about your topic.

  4. What makes an effective awareness campaign?
To have an effective awareness campaign, the key to success is: preparation and motivation. When people see that you are enthused about something, they are most likely to join you. It is essential that you know how to grab your audiences’ attention. For example, you can listen to speeches from the past like Dr. MLK Jr. and consider some of the strategies he used to hold the audiences’ attention. You can also come up with a catchy slogan that summarizes your purpose for the campaign. When delivering a speech or a public talk, you must know how to appropriately make your point clear. In order to receive, you must give. There’s many different ways you can start your own campaign. You can do a walk, bike ride, a protest, boycotts, radio advertisement, letter-writing, information booklets; anything in general to let people know your purpose. If we use these methods to start a campaign about the topic we choose, the results will probably be decent. We can make our community aware of the issue by doing all of the things I mentioned above. And always remember, it’s all about motivation.

  5. Reaching out and getting people involved starts off a good campaign. Making posters, flyers, signs, pins, ribbons, and billboards is a good way to get people’s attention. Having functions and events to help your topic will raise money and awareness about your topic. Posting videos and making a website is also another great way to get people’s attention. To make an effective awareness campaign you need to be prepared with research and info about your topic. Showing pictures of the topic you are focusing on also grabs people’s attention. When you show sad pictures or videos it seems to get more attention from people so I would advise to do that as well if you want a good campaign. Show people that they can make a difference to help others. Raise money for the topic. Spread the news around. Everywhere you go tell people about your campaign and what you’re doing to help others. Tell people how you started your campaign and stories about how you helped others. Be bold and stand up for your campaign. If I had to incorporate these things into my class campaign I would start by having everyone make posters to put up and make flyers to hand out. I would video my classmates making the posters and if we went somewhere that the topic was, I would video that as well because that would make the campaign more effective. I would have the class as a whole create a website about the topic and begin to spread the news about our campaign. I would make sure everyone knew enough information about the topic so that if anyone asked questions we would have the answers. Overall I would hope that the campaign would raise money and make people aware of our topic.

  6. The things that make a campaign successful are having background knowledge on your subject that you are campaigning about. It will also help your campaign to be persistent because if you aren’t persistent with what you do people won’t take you seriously. What will really make your campaign interesting is if you actually have personality when you are promoting your subject. If you don’t have any personality while you are speaking people will most likely fall asleep or not pay attention. The necessary components that go into a speech, is having a hook so that you can draw people in and keep them interested. To make your speech interesting I know for me at least I like to hear either scenarios or stories. Including graphics such as pictures, video clips, etc. has a large impact on how well people pay attention to your speech. The way that I would incorporate these ideas into my speech, I open up with a scenario or story to draw people in. After the scenario or story I would start my speech and while I’m speaking I would have a power point in the background or after I was finished so that I could talk about some of the pictures. When I talk by instinct speak with my hands so all throughout the speech I would talk with my hands and walk around while I talk so that people kept their eyes on me.

  7. A campaign is successful when you have supporters. When the public are behind you and following you to the end. They also have to believe in what you are telling them, so they don’t run off and find the person that you are going against in the campaign. First of all it needs its information to tell the audience what you are going to talk about. Its needs to have of interesting facts on what your speech is going to be about, because if you don’t then your audience is going to lose focus and start to do something instead of listening to your speech. The speech also needs to have your sources, just in case the audience wants to go back and try to find more information about your topic. The last thing that your speech has to have is some visuals so the audience all so doesn’t get bored and start to do something else. I have incorporated all most all of these things into my speech, so know it’s up to you to create your own speech.

  8. For a campaign to be successful you have to know specifically what you’re talking about. You also have to have your information up to par. People have to support you. You have to stay focused on what you’re doing. Don’t be nervous, even though I’m pretty sure you are. When campaigning about this issue, state why you chose the issue you chose. You need to state all your materials and resources. Make it detailed and ready for a round two if needed. You must include all relevant information. You should make posters, sings etc. things like that to get people interested in what you are campaigning. Even commercials and stuff like that. Have meetings and discussions. When the campaign takes place have confidence in your topic. Speak like there is no tomorrow. Have faith, and the biggest of them all BELIEVE that you can do this. Maybe you should h have things that will grab people’s eye: bright colors, maybe even food if possible. You have to reach out and grab their minds in a way that will interest them in what you have to say.

  9. What makes a speech successful is the work and effort you put into it and how you present it. You should always try to do your best and don’t do minimum effort on the speech like if the teacher wants you to do five hundred word essay for your speech you should try for six hundred or more but as long as it sticks to the subject and don’t veer off to another subject. You should make it detailed, attractive easy to listen to and understand. But before you present your speech you should get someone to help edit it and look over it to get a second opinion on the speech. See it needs to be altered or fixed in any way so it will sound good and well planned. You should also practice and rehearse your speech to get it down pact. Even if you can use notecards to read it is always good to not have to look down as much and know your subject. So you could give feeling in your speech and not just reading it off a card. You should also probably have a visual or slide show of pictures and information to show while you are saying your speech. So they can see your subject and here about it. But don’t read the words off the slide show because the audience can read and don’t need to be read to. Never rely on your slide show though because there are technical malfunctions all the time. You don’t want to have to wait if your speech is on the computer because that’s unprofessional. If you put these pieces all together you will get a nice speech and you will look professional.

  10. A campaign has to be well planned for it to be successful. It has to have details, it has to be well-researched, and it helps to have pictures to add image. Doing flyers and posters will make a campaign successful, too. In my class campaign I would make flyers and hand them out to friends and we could disperse them throughout the school. We could even pass them out to people we know outside of school. I would put posters up throughout school and maybe even on the road around Wilmington. I might add pictures of abortion so people could see the truth behind abortion.

  11. A successful campaign must be organized and has to have an important cause. It has to have powerful information and a hook that will catch people’s attention. It must be advertised. You can do this with posters, speeches; commercials etc. personal stories are often very effective. You could also make a documentary. When making posters they need to be colorful, attractive and have good information. You should also have a “do something club”. This club or organization should be set on doing something to help the cause. You should also make flyer and buttons that you can pass out to people. You should post your posters in your community and after a while you need to repost because weather can mess them up. I could incorporate these pieces into my class campaign by making posters to put up in the school. I would also make and give out flyers.

  12. What is a successful campaign?
To make a campaign successful, you must have a good purpose on why you’re talking about an issue. You must also be willing to do a speech on the topic that you are campaigning on. Another way to make a campaign successful is to be prepared when you are giving the campaign. Some components of a successful campaign are to research, investigate, get details, choose the best time to campaign, and recruit other speakers for your topic. While reading the campaigns from the links, I noticed that at the beginning they let us know the topic and the purpose of it. I can factor these components into the class campaign by adding enough research information in our campaign so that others can know about what we're talking about. The campaign should be in good quality with pursuasive topics that will hopefully grab the attention of others.

  13. For a successful campaign, you need to dress professionally. Some components you need to make a successful campaign is to have an effective attention grabber, a clear idea on how you want to present it, and you also need a good visual. Other things you need to do is to present it in front of a crowd and have good eye contact, good voice volume, and evidence of planning and good practice. You also need to have direct and clear answers to questions that people asked you about your topic. Another thing you could do is to make a fundraiser for your topic. Your fundraiser could be a car wash, a garage/yard sale, or a food drive and while you are doing that you can inform the people about your campaign. When you give your presentation you don’t want to stand still. What you want to do it to move around and make hand gestures. You need to make you campaign on something that people care about. You don’t want to make you campaign about have illegal people from other countries in a state that already has that law. You need to advertise your topic well. What you should have is to hang up posters everywhere and to write letters to the government. You need to advertise all over the place. Wherever you go, you should hang up a lot of posters.

  14. For success in a campaign you would need a lot of information on the topic. You would need determination to stand up for the issue your pursuing. For a successful campaign you would need permission to put up posters and hand out flyers at school as well as around your community you would have to choose how you would present your information. You would have to find different events on your cause where it has been over looked. You could try to get a quote from a victim. Visuals may speak louder than words so you would need numerous visuals. You need to plan your timing of when you are going to campaign you cause. You should put your posters everywhere even in weird places that way people will see them. Keep in mind that weather can hugely damage and destruct your posters so remember to check periodically and replace the posters if needed. Also you should have speakers that have either witnessed your issue of been in that type of situation their selves. Almost all of the steps could be used in our campaigns. We will put up a lot of posters. We will also make flyers and t-shirts and buttons, etc. we could also have different speakers for the campaign.a lot of different ways could be use but it would depend of the time frame that you have.

  15. What makes a could campaign successful is to practice a lot make sure to have very good eye contact and get right to the point and to dress the right way that you are trying to prove. Something’s that you are going necessary component’s is like I said have good eye contact. I would want to have better eye contact then I did because didn’t have too much eye contact. I would want to use note cards that way I wouldn’t have to take up time in my speech to think of what am going to say next which follows in to more practice then I did. I wish that I would have done better in my speech because thinking back I feel like I have made a lot of mistake when I was presenting.

  16. To make a campaign successful you must be confident while giving your speech, you must speak loud and clear, good use of vocabulary, maintain eye contact, enjoy yourself, practice a lot, and make sure to relate with the crowd. Being confident during a speech is a good method to use because if you are standing in front of a crowd nervously they will lose interest very fast and so will you. Speaking loud and clear I think is an issue that we may all have at some point which is why we should embrace it while giving our speech so that the crowd will understand everything that you are trying to teach them. Good use of vocabulary is really important during a campaign because you should sound professional while giving your speech, but at the same time using words that the crowd can understand without using words such as: “junk”, “stuff”, “like”, and “umm”. Maintaining eye contact with the crowd will not only show that you studied, but it will grab the attention of the crowd as if you were talking to them individually. Enjoying yourself is always a good start in making a successful campaign because you will send good vibes to the crowd, and plus who wants to listen to someone with a bad or boring attitude? Practicing is key in all campaigns because you always want to come prepared and not have your eyes glued to your visual or note cards the entire speech. Relating with the crowd is important because you don’t want to give a speech without trying to grab the crowd’s attention by asking questions and leaving them interested. The necessary components that you should have in your campaign are good resources, primary resource, secondary resource, a hook, and good visuals. I will incorporate necessary components in my speech by presenting my PowerPoint that shows sad pictures that will persuade the crowd that my issue is most important, I also put in victorical questions that makes the crowd think to themselves. I will tell my crowd about my primary and secondary resources that I have found, use very good resources and site them, and I will present the crowd with a very good hook.

  17. A lot of factors come into play when making a campaign and making it successful, for example all details have to be thoroughly revised more than once. When making a campaign it has to appeal to the audiences need and the way people make campaigns really good is that they tell the audience what they want to hear. You should also make sure that the poster is appropriate for all age because if it is not then people will not like it and think of the person who is running the campaign is a bad person. You must also advertise it so people can get the message and so that you are better known. There are many ways to advertise things for example you could do it over a broadcast or commercial or you could make posters and hang them around or you could go on the air of a radio station and all of those ways are very effective. You should advertise were people can hear you more or see you more or see your product more. It all comes down to how you appeal to the audience and how show the audience how you or your product is better than all the others. The way you should do this is by making your own commercial or going out into the public to show people that you are better than others competing against you or the product you are trying to sell is better than the other products. My point is that there is an infinite amount of ways to advertise your campaign and there is also an infinite amount of ways to appeal to the audience of your choosing. Also anyone can advertise anything it just takes a little bit of skill and persuasion to catch the appeal of the audience.

  18. To make a successful campaign you must be creative and be able to put your full effort into it. Successful campaigns often require the person creating or running it to be very ready to participate fully and have a liable cause. These campaigns usually have people supporting them, speakers, posters, websites and much more on hand information. Well, depending on the type of effect you are trying to get and or the size of people you are trying to affect can play a big part in how to be successful in an effect campaign. But since we are talking about a school sized campaign, a good start would be posters. You can put up posters around your school with permission. Placing the information in bathroom stalls, bulletin boards, and class rooms. Taking out a lunch period to walk around and personally inform people about your subject can make these people feel like the subject is more important or make them feel like they can help to stop an issue or support your subject. So, posters in random places and personally informing people of the issue or cause and why it needs support is very important. Also get your friends or classmates to get in on the issue, if you have a big group of people trying to promote and organization or stop a cause is much more effective than just one person. Also get speakers if you can, there are lots of people out in your community at shelters and organizations that have experienced, say, discrimination or abuse and are more than willing to get the word out about the issue and why it has to be stopped. Doing this will often encourage emotion which then gets you more supporters and volunteers. We as a class can do all the things I have talked about under what you can do in a school community. We also have to remember it requires a lot of dedication, but it is possible.

  19. To make a campaign successful you should have an interesting topic that will grab hold of the viewers’ attention. Many people making a campaign make posters or a PowerPoint as a visual, which is one way to grab attention. This also helps the campaigner to. You need to be prepared and have a good attitude. Be confident in yourself because when you don’t have a good attitude or you’re not confident with your-self then most likely you will send a bad vibe to the crowd. You should also try and receive a topic you are interested in so when you need to do research you won’t be completely bored and miserable. When giving a speech that goes along with a campaign you must remain eye contact with audience and have a clear and loud voice for everyone to hear. You must also show signs of practice. These are all ways to make a campaign successful. You can also make a campaign successful by using a good choice in vocabulary, that includes using them correctly, and taking pauses so that the listeners will be able to process what you have said. Another major part to a campaign is the research. You can’t start a campaign without research because if you get asked question about your topic and you cannot answer the question being asked, then that’s an issue. These are all necessary components of a campaign and how a campaign will be successful. I can incorporate these components into my campaign by researching my topic more efficiently, and being more prepared to give my speech, which means to practice more, remain eye contact, etc. I can also incorporate these by making my campaign more interesting and entertaining with more visuals, like posters to help grab peoples' attention.

  20. For a campaign to be successful, first you must target you audience. With different audiences the campaign will have different components. Also, depending on what you’re campaigning the way you deliver the campaign will differ. With posters, it’s always good to use a bright, eye-catching color that will make someone actually stop and read it. You should use pictures if necessary, and bold words on the important parts. Also, keep the writing to a minimum. The information should be brief and at a size where it’s easy to read. But, once you have someone reading the poster you want them to believe what you’re saying. So make your topic sound interesting even if it isn’t. And if you’re trying to persuade someone, then be persuading. Defend your argument and make points about why you’re right and they should believe you. A good campaign also has a catchy name and hook. You want to give the audience something to remember your campaign by. But above everything, you have to have passion about what you’re campaigning. If you’re not enthused about your topic, the no one else will be. It’s also good to list ways that people can get involved in your topic. If there are events that are going on, make that aware. These ideas could easily be incorporated into our class campaigns. We could use bright colored posters that have colors such as highlighter yellow, or neon pink and green. We could put really important and interesting facts about our topics onto them that will keep people reading. Also, we could convince the person reading that our argument is right. We could come up with catchy hooks and phrases that the reader will remember. We could also state ways the audience can get involved in what we’re talking about.

  22. An effective speech must be thought out, practiced and have attention grabbers so you don’t lose your audience. The speaker must maintain eye contact and try not to stumble on their words. Don’t let your audience see that your nerves. Try to stay as confident looking as you possibly can and just act like you are talking to a good friend or a parent. Also just don’t stay in one place, move around so you aren’t stuck in one spot and everyone doesn’t have to turn just to see you. Always pick a topic that you are interested in so you don’t get tired of searching and writing about the topic. If you aren’t interested in your topic, your speech will be low quality and might not be as effective as it could’ve been. Even consider your vocabulary choices, but keep them to a place so everyone can understand what you are trying to say. Going overboard with vocabulary can confuse your audience and maybe even yourself. If you forget any of these things make sure you don’t forget attire. Your attire tells a lot about who you are and how you’re feeling. If you don’t have fancy clothing, don’t worry about it. You don’t need to be fancy you just need to look nice and you need to appear happy and ready to speak. If your dressed sloppy and it looks like you just threw on what you first saw this morning, it’s very likely that no one is going to take you seriously. Dress in your best clothes and be well groomed to get the results you want and need to get your point across.

  23. What makes a successful campaign is when you have something that grabs the reader’s attention on something they’ve never heard of before and are interested in hearing about or would want to learn more about. You also have an attention grabber. Also, something that everyone can relate to in some manner. The necessary component that it must have is an attention grabber, something that’s interesting and/or unique. Because you don’t want something that’s going your audience not going to want to watch or not pay attention to. Also it needs some color. Don’t just make it plain and robotic, give your audience something that’s going to grab their attention and keep it. Jazz it up some. A successful campaign would also need some examples or stories to make the audience realize this is real and I wish I could do something. You’re going to have one audience member want to help out. So put a few organizations in there. I would incorporate these ideas in a class campaign by making sure I know what the people want and need to see. Move around when you’re doing the campaign. You don’t ever see someone in a campaign in the same spot as what the camera is at they usually have one or more different screen shots. Also if people want to show the effects of a campaign then they usually have more than one picture. Lastly, I would try to have something no one else would have. That would be what a successful campaign would need.

  24. To create a successful campaign you need to provide evidentiary support to persuade people to endorse your campaign. Without planning prior to speeches, hearings, campaigns, or any type of presentation you will come across unprepared, uneducated of the topic, and unprofessional. You must approach your issue in a professional manner and provide feasible reasoning for people to support the cause you are campaigning. Effective and clear visuals also help relay a message and including anything that grabs the attention of others. Research is also another fundamental key in successfully presenting for a campaign, without researching you will not have any evidence or legitimate claims for your presentation and people will not be inclined to take your issue seriously or support your campaign. Advertisement is also another key element when trying to promote a campaign, because if no one is aware of your cause or presentation taking place, will they be inclined to attend? No. Of course not, because they will not even be aware of the event or campaign taking place. Be confident and informative while presenting your issue or project, if you are confident and know what you are talking about, you will catch the eyes of your audience and promote positive feedback. Also, if you are trying to make an impression and be persuasive, you cannot present like the living dead; be passionate and full of emotion while presenting. Without emotion and passion you show apathy and your audience will lose interest quickly. We can incorporate all these elements in our class campaign by preparing and practicing in advance and having a professional and positive outlook. We have to remember we are trying make a difference, we have to approach it as such.

  25. A campaign is made successful by the ingredients a person includes in it. Having a great cause, being advertised in an effective way, including a lot of information backing up why a person should participate in the campaign and in the fight they are going against or with, and also by showing an VISUAL which brings attention are all great ingredients used in a successful campaign. Necessary components that a campaign must have are great references and reasons on why a person shall join your campaign. It should have view points from different perspectives and persuasive information. I would incorporate these pieces into my class campaign by providing a lot of persuasive information and resources backing up the information I am providing. I would also describe how my campaign would not only affect the people that are being violated and or frown upon but how it may and can affect us as well. By doing all of these things I will be able to accomplish the goal of getting people to help out and not go against the campaign I have pursued.

  26. In order for a campaign to be successful, it has to be well plan out and it has to have a direct meaning. The meaning have to be strong, effective and it has to get its point across in a known manner. It is also a great idea to have the campaign message relate to the audience in an effective manner so they could fully understand the situation and how it effecting people. The necessary components of a campaign is that it has to have a strong message, well detailed, and it has to be shown in a creative and unique way to grab your audience attention. It also has to have details that back up your campaign and explain where you got your information from. You should strongly consider having a visual, examples; posters, glogster, movie maker, power points, (etc.) I would personally pick power point or posters. For one their easier to do but yet gets your point across effectively and their also creative but you have to make sure you have details that express your point. Another main component that you need in your campaign is highlighting key points, and always say thanks to your audience for listening. Don’t forget to list ways to help your cause and list people or organizations that are helping also. I would incorporate this in my class campaign by having a strong hook and make sure my audience is interested and can relate. I will also be creative and try to find a strong way for people to relate and visualize the situation that I am talking about

  27. What I find is important in a campaign is somewhere to post what you are standing up for on a website or make a website for it. Then all around where your campaigning put up posters, fliers, hand out broachers, etc. You could post a video on YOUTUBE or an informational site or program and make it about a real interview or basically stating facts. For a campaign you could hold an event that supports your ideas on a subject or maybe a speech. You could is if you had enough money run a commercial on the TV every week or two weeks. But if you do that then you got to make it eye grabbing and catch their attention. You could try a radio interview or send information to famous people to see if they will help (they would also get the audience’s attention because if they are doing it their fans will follow them and help you too). These are all things that can make your campaign successful. They will help persuade people to help you cause or what you’re against.

  28. A successful campaign must have a hook. Something to get the reader’s attention. Something that will make a difference in the reader’s life. Something to get the reader thinking about the current issues and how they can help. For a campaign to be successful, it must display the problem worth fighting against. A campaign should give the reader the exact facts displaying both the information and the issue including ways to help. A good campaign should show important reasons why to help and to persuade the reader to participate in the cause. An organization called “World Vision” is a Christian group that fights and sends awareness around the world about children in need. They host many campaigns like the “30 Hour Famine,” which is an activity to put you in the shoes of a starving child by not eating anything for 30 hours. Campaigns should drive you to help; they must make you experience a feeling of guilt; a feeling that you need to help. They should have activities and ways to get involved in the fight against the issue. In my class campaign, I must be persuasive. I must show the audience what is currently happening. I must give them ways to help. Also, a successful campaign usually has photos or clips that help the audience fully understand what is going on from another view. I can incorporate meaningful pictures into my campaign to help the audience really know what is happening. A successful campaign must be life-changing.

  29. To have a successful campaign you must have good organization and explanation skills if that makes sense. What I mean by explanation skills is, you have to be able to explain yourself/ back up every last word you say. In other words, expect the unexpected. You must be able to answer majority of the questions thrown at you in a clear and understandable way. You must also be able to not only be able to communicate with the adults but also with the youth (everyone 19 and under). You should also learn to stay on topic and not let one sentence or answer to a question lead you to something totally different. If that happens then about 90% of the time you forget the question and you forget what you were talking about in the first place.
In a good campaign you should also have some kind of visual whether it is a video, a poster, or even a slide show. You want to make the visual very descriptive yet very exciting so it grabs all the viewer’s attention but even though you are trying to make it exciting don’t make it to where the reader or viewer is paying more attention to the visual than they are you. Also you don’t want to make it super unnecessary. When you are doing a speech that is the best time to do a slide show because you don’t have to constantly look down a your paper and all you have to do is read what is on the slide and take about one minute and thirty seconds to elaborate. You would use posters for advertisements. Hang them up around town, and you could also put it on a sign and stick it in your yard. Videos can be used for both occasions (speeches and advertisement). When you are doing a speech you can show a video clip that helps you to explain your topic a little further. You can also record a video that advertises your campaign.

  30. What makes a campaign successful? Education on what you’re campaigning about, hope that your campaign will be successful and you will get your opinion across, experience on the topic, your point-of-view on the topic, and confidence about your topic/campaign. I believe that the necessary components of a successful campaign is; knowledge, hope, experience, point-of-view, and confidence. I would make sure that I knew a lot about my topic/campaign. I would hopefully have hope that I got my point across and my opinion across in a loving way. I’m not experienced with my topic/campaign, nor will I ever be experienced in/with it. I do have my point-of-view on my topic/campaign, and I believe I delivered it in a loving manner. And I believe that I have confidence in/about my topic/campaign.
The 2 topics that I really liked from the last web-site were; CHADS and Research Dollars for Teenage Depression Coalition Raises Awareness and Traveling Quilt Exhibits about Alzheimer’s Reach 300,000 people. Those two headlines really popped-out to me because I’ve had an experience with both of them. I’ve struggled with depression before, and my grandpa had Alzheimer’s. I think both of those organizations are pretty cool because they’re trying to raise awareness for things that having a big impact on our life. I loved one of the quotes from the first organization. The quote is found in 2 Timothy 4: 7-8. It says: “I have fought the good fought, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me the crown of Righteousness.” I really like that verse because it fits the organization that they have very well! That verse is perfect for their organization!!

  31. What makes’ an awareness campaign successful is a good story and a message that takes to the heart. In the Invisible children campaign the story was compelling the message bought the heart of the crowd and made the crowd feel like they needed help. You also have to make sure the message is clear and is worthy of help or make sure people know that it is a crisis that needs to be resolved. The campaign also has to keep peoples attention so music and videos help. Also the campaign has to have a slogan like the Pablove across America Fights Kids Cancer campaign which its slogan is one pedal stoke at a time. We can include a slogan in the class campaign by making posters with our slogan on it. We can also find a tragic story about the topic of the campaign so we can draw people in and let them know this is a serious issue. In our campaign we need to let people know how they can help and why they should help. If it is possible we should broad cast our campaign through a well-known talk show or on TV or as simple as youtube. Another action that would make our campaign successful is advertisement we need to spread the word. If people don’t know how can we get help to help others? The classy awards’ is a great way of advertisement, because you have hundreds of people attending it which spreads the word about your cause even more.

  32. The component of a successful campaign is to get people’s attention and it has to be planned out right. You need flyers to tell everyone about your campaign and try to persuade people. Posters and pictures get the audience attention. You can also have big words that stand out and your contact information. Raising money will help your campaign you can do this by going to house to house and talk about your awareness. To have good reasons you may want to have research to support your idea. Be proud of what you’re doing and show that you know what you’re talking about. Always have eye contact with your audience that way you show respect and the audience will pay attention to you. Don’t sound like your nervous when you’re presenting .People will notice by your voice, sound proud and deliver your message with confidence. These are ways to make a campaign successful.

  33. To create an effective campaign you need many components. You need something to grab society’s attention, in the future, that will help you the most. You also need a visual to hook the attention of others. To make the cause as important to others as you think it is you need to make them aware with facts. The more factual, the better the campaign will be. Show how society can make a difference in your campaign. The one thing that will make your campaign is to spread the word. The more society knows about your campaign, the more they will care. Spread the word by posters and internet advertisements. The only way to make people aware is to get in their face, and show them what your campaign is all about. If people don’t know about your topic, they won’t care. Even though it might be hard to get through to society, you will need to push. The overall way to get to society is awareness.

  34. In order to make a successful campaign happen, you need to include some essential components. First thing is to be supporting a great cause that has a meaning to it. It should be advertised in an effective way, bringing more awareness to the cause. Getting background information is very crucial if you want to convince people to support your cause. Clear visuals are an excellent way to get the attention of possible supporters. It adds emphasis to your campaign and explains things through pictures that can’t be described in words. Doing tons of research on the campaign topic is a fundamental key to effectively voice the reasons as to why they should support your campaign and why it’s so important to bring awareness to the situation. Advertisement is an additional component that is extremely crucial to making a successful campaign. Advertisement brings awareness to you campaign and presents itself to others so they can get additional information and maybe pass on the word. Without anyone knowing about the cause, it leads to a much failed campaign. More publicity means that more people learn about your upcoming campaign. Making your advertisement and poster colorful, it stands out from other posters and people are more drawn to it. When presenting your campaign, put emphasis and passion into your tone of voice to make sure that people know that it is important and that you are passionate about this cause. To incorporate this into my campaign, I would put tons of posters that stand out from the others and show people a reason as to why they should support my campaign.

  35. These campaigns are successful because they all make a point to you. They give you examples of how their goal and point will make you feel better. They also talk about how those who have join the cause they are helping so much. They put many visuals so you see their point how you know they are helping. They ask you questions that will make you ponder, about their point. Repeating their cause many times, for the audience to embrace it. They also give you information on why they pick this topic and why they want you to donate to the cause.
I would incorporate these examples of how to run a campaign by following the steps I said above. I would also give examples and give you the right feeling over what I was talking about. I would also make people think of my goal and point and make them feel strongly about it. Tell them all the things they would be happy about just by joining the campaign. So that’s how I would incorporate my examples of how bringing this campaign of mine is a great idea, and how it will have a reaction to my audience and how it’s going to make them feel.

What Makes an Effective Awareness Campaign?

The most important thing that is needed to make an effective awareness campaign is an “attention grabber” or “hook.” You need to get the persons attention towards what you’re trying to raise awareness. Quotes, images, facts, posters/flyers that you can hang in places where people have to at least skim through or give out to people everywhere and anywhere. Also need to be there in person to present or to do what you have to do. Another important thing you need is support from other people that agree with what you are trying to raise awareness for. More support the more people will try thinking that there are many people already helping. If some of those ideas or strategies you should have more you can do and or try. The more there is the more attention is received because it’s like saying look at me or pay attention to me. One more important thing is to have all the information to answer any question and to be prepared for anything.

  37. For A campaign to be successful, it is essential to have a good message with lots of information to support it. You need to be able to defend your argument if it is challenged. Knowing about the subject of your campaign is the key to being successful. Once you are solid with your argument and information, you can begin to raise awareness of your problem. This can be done in a number of ways. You could put up posters. You could host an event. Raise awareness in as many ways as you can. Don’t be limited to one strategy. Supporters will come along with the progression of your campaign. People who support your cause can also help you with your campaign. Being an effective speech giver will help your campaign as well. A speech is a great way to raise awareness of your issue. For my class campaign, I would start by thoroughly researching my topic. After this I would develop my argument and be sure that I can defend it with my knowledge of the topic. Once I have done this I would begin to look for peers that support my cause that could help me with my campaign.

  38. In order to have a successful campaign you must first have a successful campaign idea. Once you have an idea then it’s time to start your campaign. When campaigning you should think about how you want to get your message across. For an awareness campaign you might want to think about an attention grabbing way to raise awareness. Posters, flyers, pamphlets, and public service announcements are all great ways to raise awareness about a topic. Once you have found your method of raising awareness it’s time to put it together. Now you should start drawing up a plan for the design of your attention grabber. Once your design is ready it’s time to for placement. You should start planning places where you can spread the news about your subject. Always place things in a place where people are sure to see it. You wouldn’t want your topic to go unnoticed. Try to place things in high traffic areas or places that people walk by a lot. All of these things will help me get a campaign up and running but there are many other things I can do to make it better or keep one running smoothly and successfully. You can always add on things to make your campaign better. All in all a good campaign needs to be well organized and well advertised.

  39. What makes a campaign successful would be doing something you are passionate about. For a successful campaign you have to do a lot of researchand know everything you need to know and more, so that you know what to say whenever anyone anywhere asks you something.Pick who will be the better speaker or speakers for this campaign. For example like in the just tell program they have kids tell other kids they should speak up because they think kids listen better to kids. Investigate and get into details concerning the area around your issue. Get real people to tell their story that is relating to your issue, as said on one of the links real stories are powerful. Have images that are relevant and look like they are worth learning about and finding the details that go with it. Putting some effort and actually caring is what makes a campaign successful. Having different ways of distributing your awareness and different ways of the style is a good way to do your campaign. Knowing when to address your campaign is also in a successful campaign, waiting till a time that everybody knows a little bit about your issue than springing on them and dropping all the reasons it is important is a good way of getting people to listen. Where you post your campaign is also makes a successful campaign, like sticking them in places people have to read them, like the bathroom stall. Finding speakers that specialize in or have been personal with the issue is important in a successful campaign. I would use everything I just said on my class campaign and convince everybody that the issue is worth being doing/notified on.

  40. The ways a campaign can be successful is for it to be organized, hardworking, to believe in what you are working for and persuasive. The necessary component that a campaign that it need to have is what the point of the campaign is going to be. There has to be a point to you campaign and you have to prove why it is important to have this problem fixed. The campaign needs to be informational you need to give facts as to why the problem need to be fixed or how others can help with this problem. Advertisements are a good idea to spread the word, by things like; newspaper, TV, posters, internet, commercials, social networks, etc. I would incorporate in this by looking up information about my topic before making advertisements; I would need to find appropriate information that has to do with my topic. I would also find a primary resource for the topic that I am working on things like interviews about the topic and if anyone has ever experienced the cause that I am trying to help. I would also give information about how anyone can help the cause. I would try to have my classmates share the information to other friends, to help spread the word about what there is needed to be done. I would also try to persuade others in hope that my campaign will get fundraisers.

  41. In order to construct an effective campaign you must become interested in the topic you will be working towards, so therefore you yourself will be motivated and excited to find all the answers to your questions. A very important task is to assure you have the correct research so that your answers are all accurate when you informing your audience. It is also good to include facts, and to give examples so that they understand the concept better. The main component is to try to buy in your audience, so that they to feel that your topic is effective. To attract your audience you must have an appealing visual. After knowing what your topic is you must target your audience to try to seek who you will be striving to convince, for example if your audience are all young children use bright colors that will draw their attention. But if you have an older audience, assure that you have enough research to prepare for any questions they may have in mind. For all types of audience anyone should continually use appealing visuals like posters to attract whomever you are exposing your campaign towards. It also suitable to add on images, pictures, drawings, or data charts so that when people are looking at your visuals they may have an idea to comprehend your topic more effectively. You should also recruit a group of people who you feel will help you along the process of making your campaign a success. But before you start distributing things you should make informative flyers to notify your audience on your topic. It is always better to distribute your flyers in common public places so that your campaign attracts many different people. You should also continue out with this process so that your campaign becomes mutual amongst many people. I would incorporate these ideas into my class campaign by making appealing posters distributing appropriate data and information, based on my topic. I would also keep in mind to make informative flyers both appealing and full with the real facts and data that demonstrates what I am stating. I would also try to convince my audience that together we can all make an impact, difference on the issue occurring within my topic. So that they too will try to feel the need to recruit other members to try to help and make aware the issues that are occurring. The main thing is to gather speakers so that they mainly can talk about the topic and incorporate the issues occurring.

  42. A good campaign is key. To make your campaign the best you can, you have to be motivating and enthusiastic about your topic. You need to have an attention grabber that will not only keep the audience’s attentions, but it will keep them interested during the entire presentation. You really want to make your point as clear as possible and put your all into it. You need plenty of examples to back up your topic to make you stand strong in your argument. Practice makes perfect, so you really need to make sure that you have practiced your campaign speech and presentation before presenting so people can see that you actually know what you’re talking about. Be confident with your campaign and make sure you feel comfortable with what you are presenting and sharing with your audience. Make good eye contact and make the audience feel as though you are having a one on one conversation with them. They will feel more at home with the discussion and will most likely pay more attention to what you have to say. Really let people know how serious that topic is to you and how much you are for it. You should let the audience know the things they can do to get involved in the cause and what they can do to make a difference. No one wants to know the bad things about a cause and not know what they can do to help. It is also important to relate things to real world examples and how this topic or cause could affect the lives of people in the audience. It’s alright to make the campaign personal, in fact that is probably the better way to go. If you make your campaign personal, it will not only touch the hearts of the audience, but it will also make them want to reach out and make a difference in any way they can. I would strive to do the best during my campaign, no matter how big or how small the topic or cause may be.

  43. There are many ways to make a campaign successful. Though there are some are easier than others and more productive than others and less time consuming. One of the main ways is to be organized and prepared. It is easy to get of task and with that you can turn a great cause into a disorganized mess that accomplishes nothing what so ever and just makes a burden on others. Another key part is to be prepared. Having the right amount of time, funding, and materials is a key element in any successful camping. Finally one of the biggest key parts is good advertising. Making sure people know that your campaign is going and what it is about is a major role in any successful campaign. Using these steps and working together staying productive and motivated can make any campaign successful.
